Government Hill

Visit Anchorage calls Government Hill one of Anchorage's original neighborhoods. Its Federal Housing Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, holds houses and duplexes built between 1915 and 1950, and the Alaska Engineering Commission built the neighborhood's Wireless Station in 1917.
